Oh my goodness… It's December 2024. I am so looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday 8th December at The Christmas Concert.

This month’s newsletter is dedicated to all you need to know about show day and what to prepare.

I am so thrilled that performers from LPA Shrewsbury will be joining us to celebrate. Welcome, I can't wait to see you all!

TICKETS

The show is almost completely sold out. This will create an amazing atmosphere for all of our performers and it will be a truly fabulous evening. If you haven’t managed to get tickets, please don’t panic. More tickets will become available this week. WHAT DO PERFORMERS WEAR?

Soloists - please dress smartly. Dress up as much as you like! It’s a great excuse to wear your favourite fancy outfit. 

Group Numbers - LPA Thursday MT- singing 'Like It's Christmas' by Jonas Brothers- please wear a Christmas Jumper/Dress 

LPA Saturday MT - singing 'Defying Gravity' and 'For Good' from Wicked - please wear a Christmas Jumper/Smart Dress

LPA Contemporary - white t-shirt and black leggings

LPA Ballet soloist (Abi) - dress provided by Lovely Lizzie

WHAT TIME SHOULD PERFORMERS ARRIVE?

I am thrilled to be organising our concert at The Hive, Belmont this year. We can not access the venue until 6 pm, so I request please that all performers arrive dressed and stage ready at 7 pm. Doors open at this same time too, and the performers will be shown to backstage. There will be chaperones to take care of our cast. Audience members will be shown to the theatre space.

PARKING AND FACILITIES

Parking can be found at St Julian Friars which is a short walk from the Hive. There is also disabled parking outside the venue, and also car parks in town including Barker Street and Bridge Street. (You can find a map in the gallery below)

Refreshments will be available from the Hive bar. 

There will also be a Christmas raffle too!

HOW LONG IS THE SHOW?

The performance will be approximately 1 hour. We have so many brilliant performers and will finish the evening with a Christmas Sing-a-Long!
